Shanghai Benegene Biotechnology Co. was established in 2006. The company is located in USST(University of Shanghai for Science and Technology) National Science and Technology Park. We provide professional SNP(single nucleotide polymorphism) research and genotyping services for colleges and research institutions. The company has:

 

1, cutting-edge genotyping platforms

We are currently equipped with the MassARRAY time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) platfrom from Sequenom®, and the GeneChip® platform from Affymetrix® Inc. The company is among the first established organizations, and the largest one,  that provide SNP genotyping services to the public in China.We are capable of carrying out large scale SNP genotyping, SNP discovery, and disease association studies.

 

2, a professional team

Our R & D team includes Ph.Ds from Harvard University, UC Berkeley, Uppsala University(Sweden) and Fudan University. The company also recuited researchers with master degrees from Wuhan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Second Military Medical University and other famous universities.
